Carmen Mofongo is NYC's one and only Latin Lady With Stuff On Her
Head. She is a comic, singer, fashionista and
Spanglish speaker who is the re-creation of Carmen
Miranda for our generation--as a Nuyorican from
Brooklyn. She has entertained audiences with her
unique class, sass (and ass!) at performance spaces
too numerous (and sometimes too torturous) to mention.
She categorically denies ever having met the redheaded
writer/performer/art star Michele Carlo.
