Lux-Killmore Entertainment presents One Year of Pure Pulp!, an evening of chicks and flicks on May 30th @ 8pm at The Slipper Room.
If you've ever missed even one Lux Killmore event, don't fear! The cliff notes are here. Just like those amazing America's Next Top Model marathons, we're bringing you the year's recap all in one marathon night! We've been making films, producing events and supporting underground cinema for a full year now! Last May we produced our first event "Evening at the Grindhouse" with 15 of NYC's top burlesque performers, from the Pontani Sisters to Scotty the Blue Bunny, and after producing events at Coney Island USA, Den of Cin and Galapagos we're commemorating Lux Killmore with a night at the Slipper Room where all nine of our films will be shown, we'll have a full burlesque show and Sikamor Rooney an indie-rock band that will blow your mind.

About the Performers:
Pinkie Special has been called the "Monty Python of Burlesque" she can do no wrong. From scientist to turkey; hula-hooping and dancing!
Bunny Love is a famed performer of stage and screen, this beauty brings only the best burlesque. A true inspiration.
Bambi the Mermaid Forever the Queen of Coney Island, she specializes in spectacle.
Insectavora is famed by the Coney Island Sideshow, she can eat fire, walk up a ladder of swords and even eat bugs! She has been seen on The Learning Channel, CNN American Morning, CNN Headline News, Animal Planet, New York Times, Miami Ink, James Taylor's "Shocked & Amazed", Marc Hartzman's "American Sideshow",and Various Documentaries, Films, and Commercials world-wide.

About Lux Killmore: Lux-Killmore is an East Coast/ West Coast ensemble. Together, burlesque sensation, Dottie Lux and, underground filmmaker, Val Killmore make up Lux-Killmore Entertainment.

The star of the Slipper Room's self-proclaimed "Vegas/Victorian" aesthetic is the velvet-curtained, gorgeously gold-trimmed stage itself. The Slipper Room plays host to both local and more widely-known cabaret acts, including Scotty the Blue Bunny and *BOB*, as well as the song stylings of owners Camille and James.
