Although different, in the past 5 years both New York City and The City of New Orleans have faced major tragedies. The artisic communities can relate to eachother and the process it takes to thrive. On February 21st @ 7:30 pm at the Two Boots Pioneer Theatre's Den of Cin, Lux Killmore will draw this connection in a coming together and celebration.

The artists represented this evening will be Gary Beeber, acclaimed NYC film maker, with his shorts "Messenger" and "Happy Ride, Coney Island" and those starring in "NOLA '07" Lux Killmore's short documentary with footage and interviews from 4 flourishing artists.

YOU!: We will doing a live taping of a scene for our next short "Fool" which gives the entire audience an opportunity to make an appearance. You don't have to be on screen, but if you do come fancy.

"I believe art, especially moving art like music, burlesque and film, has the power to console and bring dialogue. It is our attempt to do those things." says show producers and film makers, Dottie Lux and Val Killmore.

"The Two Boots complex on Avenue A is starting to rival Lincoln Center in the sheer diversity of its kooky entertainment...The Den (is) a subterranean lounge-screening room that's definitely got my number." -- Michael Musto, Village Voice
